Do candidates need an account or a download?
No. A candidate opens the invitation link in a browser and types a name.
What do I need to start an interview?
A work email. We send a six-digit code to it, and the code opens your account and your room. Free addresses, such as Gmail or Outlook, and temporary addresses cannot open an account.
Which browsers does it work in?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, on a computer or a phone. Sharing a screen needs a computer, because phone browsers do not offer it.
How long can a meeting last?
On the Free plan, 30 minutes from the moment the first person joins. The meeting shows the time left and closes when it runs out, and you can start another one straight away. On Pro there is no time limit.
How many people can join?
3 on the Free plan and up to 16 on Pro. On Pro, up to 10 more can join as spectators by a link of their own: they see and hear the meeting and are not seen or heard, and everyone in the meeting is shown who is watching.
Can I choose the video quality?
Yes. Quality, under the video, sets what you send: Auto, Data saver, Standard, High definition or Full HD, up to 1080p, on every plan.
Who can share a screen?
Anyone in the meeting can share a window or a whole screen.
Is there a chat?
Yes. Once someone has joined, the panel beside the video has a chat. Everyone in the meeting sees what is written there, and it is not stored: someone who joins later does not see what was written before.
Are meetings recorded?
Not by us. Audio, video and shared screens are passed to the people in the meeting and are not stored. Nothing is transcribed. On Pro, the host can record a meeting to their own device with Record, under the video. Everyone in the meeting sees "Recording" while it runs, and the file stays on the host's device.
How is a meeting protected?
Each meeting has its own ten-digit number and a passcode, and the invitation link carries both. Audio, video and shared screens are encrypted in transit. The host can end the meeting for everyone.
What does it cost?
Meetings of up to 3 people are free. Pro is $99 per month, or $990 per year, for your whole organization, with 100 seats. See the plans.
What is a seat?
A member of your team, or an open invitation to it. Pro has 100, and Enterprise has more. Candidates are never counted.
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. A card is asked for only when you buy Pro.
